Not without loosing a bunch of features... For example, if you want
invoices tied directly to a certain date, you couldn't do historical
adustments, or if an invoice (for whatever reason) was deleted in
September for example, the customer could have a "hole" in their service
and would have gotten a free month of service.

The way it is now is that the invoice time credit is dynamically adjusted
to whatever the customer's expiration date is... So, if an old invoice
was deleted, the time periods that all the other invoices were for would
automatically slide down a month, etc.

So... in order for it to do that you would have to make it so the time
period invoices were for could never change without deleting the invoice
and creating a new one altogether.
