Re: Problem with Program Linking via TCP/IP

Hi Shawn,

Thanks for the correction on the // - it was a typo on my part. Anyhow,
after a couple of hours of testing, I found the answer.

I normally use an applescript to auto-launch QDNS Remote, QDNS Server,
QDNS Manager and KeepItUp on this 9.1 machine. The script has a pause
between each step.

When I launched each program *manually*, in the same sequence, I can
establish a connection over TCP/IP. I found if the applescript launches
the programs, no matter what pause values I put in there, I cannot
establish the connection.

Makes no sense to me. So I have developed a work around for now. Would
like to know why an applescript would kill the connection.

Thanks.
