Miscellaneous Fields and sub account questionsFrom: Tom Shin Date: Monday, March 1, 1999
Time: 3:21:42 pmHow can you set values to the miscellaneous fields in the signup procedure
on the web interface?
Also, how will billing and invoicing work for sub-accounts? Meaning, do
they need to have credit card information entered if the master account it
was created off of has credit card information? Are invoices sent separate
from the ones that are created for the master account? Does the sub account
have to have the same username as the master account it was created off of?
This might seem confusing so here's a situation I'm thinking of:
A master account (login: master) that pays $25 monthly has 3 slave accounts
that all pay $20 monthly and have expiration dates of 3/1/99 and the master
account gets one $95 invoice for all four accounts on the first of each
month and his card is charged that amount. All well and good.
I add a sub account (login: subacc) on 3/15/99 that pays $45 quarterly. An
invoice is generated for that subaccount on 3/15/99 for $45.
Questions:
Is the invoice sent to the master@mydomain.com or subacc@mydomain.com? I
ask this because, for our purposes, it should be sent to
master@mydomain.com.
Is the credit card of the master account charged or is the subacc credit
card charged? Yeah, I know they are the same, but if I clear the credit
card information of the subacc account, what will happen? I know that if
you do this on normal slave accounts, it doesn't matter, it just defaults to
the master account method of payment. is this true of sub accounts as well?
Thanks,
Tom
