Search Again: MX Records - Multiple Mail Servers From: George Ruzzier Date: Tuesday, July 9, 2002 Time: 5:38:30 pm Hi, We are currently running 1 mail server (domain.com). I have setup a 2nd mail server (domain.net) that I want to move some users/domains over to. I want them to use mail from domain.net for pop/smtp, but, keep their web site forms which refer to the old server (domain.com) active so I don't have to change all the forms. This will require their domain to still reside on the old mail server as well as the new. Can I achieve this by just prioritizing the MX records? E.g., MX 5 is domain.net and MX 25 is domain.com, or is there a better way to do this? Thanks in advance. ------------------------------------------------------------- George A.
