Search Again: Unable to connect to QucikDNS 4.0 Manager From: Brian Watters Date: Saturday, July 20, 2002 Time: 6:26:07 pm Hello all, We are having a devil of a time with our setup here .. We have setup on two different workstations the QuickDNS 4.0 manager on both XP and Win2k .. Both give us the very same error .. i.e. unable to connect to server .. This happens when we attempt to place the default user and pass along with the workstations IP address as the server name .. It fails each and every time .. Now both of these machines sit behind a firewall however I am assuming that this should not make a difference as no traffic is going across the Firewall as all I am trying to do is connect locally to my own workstation .. Heck we have even tried the local loopback IP address 127.0.0.1 and it still fails .. Anyone have any ideas? Brian
