Secondary inaccessable remotely. From: ahclist Date: Sunday, July 21, 2002
Time: 12:03:20 pmHey folks,
I have encountered an odd problem today. I'm running a secondary
server using OS 9.1 and QDNS 3.0.1. Normally, I log in remotely to
both this machine and the primary (same setup) to update zones. For
some reason today, I cannot get to the secondary, although I can
access the primary without issue.
The error message I receive is: unable to locate server (secondary
server name).
I am able to TB2 into the machine, it is serving properly. I can
access the server via TB2 using the QDNS manager without issue, and
QDNS remote is also running as it normally does. I've rebooted the
machine, and I get the same behavior. Has anyone else seen this
behavior? Up until this point, the secondary has been rock solid for
DNS needs.
TIA,
paul
