Search Again: Re: OS X vs Reverse Lookups From: Bill Staudenheimer Date: Wednesday, July 24, 2002 Time: 7:29:10 pm Kudos to Chris Buxton for an astute use of dig, in Quickdns-Talk Digest #1288 22/07/02, to demonstrate that my ISP (XO) had un-configured my Reverse Address delegation (without notice). Of course, it had nothing to do with the OS X upgrade, except that they both happened on the same day. The only thing more arcane than "dig" is how to persuade an ISP that they are the ones who have something wrong. Seems the prejudice is that the customer doesn't know anything... Bill Staudenheimer.
