Is there any hope that we will see something like a "change log" that will
track all changes (added accounts, password changes, deleted
emails/domains, etc., really any change that might affect a server setup)
and have the capability to export even a plain text file of these changes
so that we would be able to automate the change process on multiple servers?
Right now if a typical new user is added, or a password gets changed we
would have to update information on 3 seperate servers (main RADIUS server,
main email/backup RADIUS server, web server) mostly by hand. Our support
people may have the ability to make the change in OG but not have access to
one or more of the servers to implement it. The might have to send email to
an administrator for every change to get it done.
A "change log" that tracked all of these and could be exported
(automatically on a regular basis would be nice) would allow us to move the
changes to a master server and let it automatically make them via a PERL
script.
Any hope?
