Search Again: Strange problem From: Mia''s Virtual Post Office Date: Wednesday, August 7, 2002 Time: 8:49:29 am Hello, I have a customer that has been with us for 5+ years and has had their domain just as long. For some reason one of their offices in Michigan (which uses Ameritech DSL) cannot seem to ping/traceroute to their mail server/web server. We host the mail server here and the web server is hosted in Calf. However we host the DNS and have not changed anything recently. I can do nslookups to the mail. and www. via our servers and via other DNS servers like Earthlink for example without issue. However if I do an nslookup using Ameritech's DNS servers I do not get an answer. Any ideas what could be going on? the domains not listed as this is a government organization, so for testing purposes if you have any ideas email me off the list (jer@mia.net) and I will provide you with the domain names. thanx..
