I was thinking of this as well - some of our products are over $400 monthly.
Any chance you could still specify referral credits equal to the referred
customer package with a ceiling imposed - say, a maximum referral credit
limit. I would think it would be easier to do this than to create a query
for a sub-set of products. Our target audience for referrals is the
residential market. We have salespeople that make commissioned sales for
business referrals so everyone profits in the end - it's just handled
differently.

Depends on how you give referral credit... if you give a flat referral
fee of $10, then it will be $10.
