DNS Routing Loop?

Hi Everyone,

I'm hoping Chris or someone else can help me ASAP. I'm in a bit of a bind
(no pun;).

This is what I'm getting back on bounced email from our SIMS server:

> SMTP: DNS Routing Loop
> The Domain Name System record for 'lists.riddleofthesphinx.com'
> points back to 'mail.omniadventures.com'.

I get this on all the domains I have set up with both an A record and MX
record pointing to the IP of the machine running LetterRip (a list server).
We have another machine running SIMS. So, WHY is this giving me this
problem?

If I lookup lists.stlouiswebery.net or lists.riddleofthesphinx.com (both of
which are producing the same error, it returns an IP ending in .113 which
hosts LetterRip. And if I lookup mail.omniadventures.com it returns an IP
ending .100 which hosts SIMS. Doesn't that sound like the way it should be?

I've tried running SIMS and Letterip on the same machine and now on
separate, but I keep getting the same errors either way.

Also, all lists.mydomain.com DNS entries worked for awhile, except for
lists.stlouiswebery.net. Then they all stopped working after changing the
DNS to point to the new server. Then I move LetterRip back to the old server
and repointed the lists.mydomains.com back to where they were working and
now NONE work.

I really have to have this working by morning and I'm simply out of
solutions.

Thanks for any help you can provide!
