All domains are entered through Services with the customer record into the system. The very first invoice for the registration of the domain is processed manually and posted to the customer. We allow the customer 30 days to pay for this invoice. We do not ever add a billing cycle item to the customer's record for domain transactions. For all renewals we use Domain Manager. Produce a report (daily) on which domains are up for renewal and then hit the INVOICE button. (I guess you could automate this step). When the invoice is paid, Optigold automatically updates the expiry date on the domain with domain manager, to reflect the new date. That's it. Nothing more to it from our point of view.
