The pertinent differences are:

- Automatic updates of PTR records
- Full logging / Zone change history
- Unlimited Undo/Redo
- Better integration of multi-server networks
- Increased security; all network traffic is now implemented
with secure protocols
- Support for four new record types (AAAA, RP, AFSDB, WKS)
- Support for BIND 9

Many of these features are implemented with the addition of a new
component, QuickDNS Central. You can have multiple DNS servers,
multiple DNS management workstations, and one central data-store
server. QuickDNS Central is responsible for:

- remembering access privileges
- logging changes to zones
- etc.

You no longer log directly into QuickDNS Remote. Instead, you log
into QuickDNS Central, and then the connections to the various copies
of Remote are automatic.

Also, in a NAT'd environment, or before you get you DNS data
configured, you can still connect to your server by the intended
hostname - even though that hostname doesn't resolve to the correct
IP address.
