Re: Complex SQL queries allowed?

some of the most common problems/complaints I have seen on this list are the
sql interface or lack of, and the web connector
Ideally opti should be an application that sits on top of any old database
or at least the most common breeds

I am still struggling with the concept of needing an extra database to store
my accounting information (radius logs) another database to do odbc- radius
and email authentication.
Most if not all other isp billing applications I have seen store everthing
in one db

Having another db is just another point of failure.

I can see some merit in having another db, but this should be a mirror of
the necessary tables in otpi
for radius and email authentication.

Opti is supposed to save me time, not cost me time writing scripts and
checking that everthing has worked

regards

Tim
