The new AVS Security stuff can be turned on under the billing preferences, and allows you to have Optigold automatically void credit card transactions that do not meet certain AVS criteria (no AVS match for zip, address and/or CVV2). You can also set it to reject International credit cards if you would like. CVV2 checking is only supported with VeriSign Payflow Pro, Authorize.Net an= d SurePay currently (it's dependent on the other gateways adding support or not). And CVV2 validation requires the new CCAuthorize.jar file on the employee workstation(s), which can be installed with a workstation installation. The AVS Security system can only void transactions when used with gateways that support voids... Which is most of them (a few obscure ones do not).
