Thanks for the info. Has anyone attempted this to your knowledge? Would
you recommend that the Optigold data files not be tampered with
directly? I mean, if the process is very complicated (updating across
multiple tables, dependent table schema, etc.) I would just throw out
this idea in favor of preserving the data files' integrity.

It's possible if you set it up as an ODBC data source... Although doing
so is completely, 100% not supported on our end, as if you are inserting
and updating into the tables, it would be very easy to break things if
not done properly. So you would be on your own when modifying the
tables directly.
