8.3.4 isn't available from ISC yet, so there's no option to download
and compile it. You could get 8.3.3 in source code form, obtain the
patch from ISC, and compile a fixed version; if you want to do this,
the message posted by Jeremy indicates that you should contact a
particular email address @isc.org for assistance.

Note that Apple has never updated the version of named they ship with
Mac OS X. It's always been 8.2.3. So they're a bit behind.
