Which, when you're using QuickDNS to manage your servers, is not a
big deal - QuickDNS will prod a slave server to update, shortly after
the master server is told to update.

More importantly, you're removing the redundancy effect, to an
extent. Any server that happens to cache the authority record (the
one NS record in the zone) and not the delegation records is not
going to query the second server if the first one becomes unreachable.
