Okay, besides the confusion about what is coming from where (and the
onset of mild psychosis from sleep deprication) I think one of the things
confusing me here is that you mention that I need to do a new "Web Server
Installation" on my web-connector machine...but wouldn't I have had to do
that anyway (or have it argue with me that I needed the newer OG to log in
(the way the clients did)...in fact now that I think about it, I think it
argued with me about that even after I had done a web connector install so
I ended up checking both boxes to get it to be able to launch. It looks
like it always did (has the "IP Connections Unlimited" like you say, and
doesn't argue that I need to update when I launch it...doesn't that mean
that I must already have those new .txt files?
I found a folder called /Filemaker/Filemaker Pro 5/Web (which
according to Windows was modified last night), I copied that into
/my-cert-server/optigold-folder (where the other add.htmls were...the .txt
files were not there). It changed my login sites to look different but I
got the same results trying to login and use it.
Is it possible that the .txt files to which it is refering are
somewhere other than in that path on the web connector (and where would
that path be?) My page modifier guys seem to remember maybe chasing
magical text files to unlikely places (somewhere the web thing used to be
perhaps, etc...) Is there a way to tell?
