Hmm...well maybe that is related then. Here's the thing, I can go to:
http://www-my-cert-site/FMPro?config
and that is where I point it to that open client thing's address/port.
I can also go to:
http://the-server-with-the-interface/FMPro?config
and see the same stuff.
I cannot get to add.html (etc...) by going to
http://the-server-with-the-interface/anything as that is not where those
files were being served (we had them on server with a cert.)
As a test I made a virtual directory for the virtual server on my
has-the-open-og-thing-on-desktop box
"http://the-server-with-the-interface/virtual-directory" which points down
to Filemake Pro/Web and launched the index.html there. I get the error
"Format File Not Found: The format file results.txt could not be found" if
I try to log into an account with that. That should be the 'new version'
though I did not ever use it that way in the past because of that cert.
Does it seem like I have the web-configurator on two different
machines, is that maybe what is causing the discrepency?
I am serving custom web files from my-cert-machine/some-folder and it
is that-machine/FMPro?config that I use to point my stuff at the other
machine that has the little open optigold session on it. Is that maybe
causing this confusion? When you say "you are not looking in the right
FileMaker folder" what do you mean? What is not looking in the right
folder and where might I find that setting?
