Re: Account Class questionFrom: Chuck Rock Date: Thursday, December 26, 2002
Time: 1:02:24 pmHmm.. I can't figure this out, I'm in a logic loop here.. :-)
OK, I have a dial-up class because that's how I build the radius file. If
I have a dial-up that's going to host a web site, and regiters a domain, I
need to fire the create domain event for that.
This is not a problem yet. The problem I have is I have unix and windows
hosting that requires different set-up's. I also have an account class for
unix hosting and windows hosting.
How can I fire the events I need without constantly changing the account
classes? Is this where I'd use product specific events? We did try the
product events in the past, but it seemed to fire the event every time an
invoice was generated for a customer, or if I entered it in the billing
cycle items.
I guess you don't link events to recurring billing items, just "set-up" or
something?
Ideas?
Thanks,
Chuck
