Re: FileMaker Dependent, aarrrghFrom: Michael Baird Date: Tuesday, December 31, 2002
Time: 8:19:25 pmIf you go to http://www.optigold.com you can download a trial version
that is self contained, doesn't expire, has a 100 user limit, and
doesn't require the filemaker pro client to be installed (it comes with
a runtime). Concerning your original post, Filemaker Pro doesn't exist
for linux, only FileMaker Server exist, we also found Optigold, to be
one of the least expensive billing packages available (a side benefit),
we didn't care about that, it just happened to work out that way,
Optigold is head and shoulders above the rest. check
http://www.digitalpoint.com/products/isp/compare.html for a comparison,
or other options you may prefer.
