that domain's DNS setup is ok.

Timeouts on DNS queries will cause the mail delivery app to log that "bad
name" error, which is not very explanantory. "bad" because of nxdomain?,
nodata? (both definitive), or timeout (non-definitive)?

Timeouts on DNS queries could be caused by delays from DNS or other problems.
