Search Again: Some Changes... From: Shawn Hogan Date: Saturday, April 3, 1999 Time: 8:33:14 pm Okay... there are a few changes going on here at Data Point Solutions. Well... {scratching head} That's one of the changes. Starting next week, Data Point Solutions won't *be* Data Point Solutions anymore. Instead, it will be Digital Point Solutions. Not a huge change, but a change none-the-less. Since everyone is going to ask me why... I'll just explain before people ask... hehe I decided to "legally" register some trademarks a few weeks ago. And I found out that someone owns the trademark "Datapoint". While, that doesn't really mean anything except I can't *legally* trademark it. We can use it as long as they don't object. Well, they never objected, but I decided to change the name now to save a headache in the future since they could (if they wanted to) force us to change the name. So I figured I would solve the problem before it became an "issue" in the future. So now we have 3 registered trademarks (well, they are pending, but you know)... "Digital Point", "Optigold" and the Digital Point Solutions logo. Everything will still work with the old emails, URLs, etc. But the "official" URL for the company is http://www.digitalpoint.com, and I figured while I was making the changes to the website/domains, etc. I would utilize our optigold.com domain. Sooooo... the "official" email address for this list is now isp-list@optigold.com (although the old one should work too). If you see anything around with the data-point.com domain or "Data Point Solutions", let me know. :-) I think I got the website squared away, but there are a lot of pages, so I may have missed something. - Shawn ------------------------------- Shawn D.
