Per-company options

Greets All;
Trying to set up some things and having problems. We have 2
companies, licensed, and I want to turn on automated events for one but
not the other.
Also can't seem to limit access to just one company.
last, but not least, are there any logs anywhere to find what happened
(or didn't) relative to server events? Specifically, if there is a
mistake in setting up a user and it's put on hold for some reason, the
user is not created. Finding that takes an inordinate amount of time.
