How about creating a UDP port in OG that allows a server to send POP-UP messages to OG. Here is the scenario. (sort of like the old Win-Pop from win3.11) You just activated a trigger. The trigger runs and you hear nothing else. The server (that the trigger talked with) finishes its commands and the admin has included a last function to the server side script which sends a confirmation to OG via the UDP POP-UP message. It could be configured to get the IP addy of the OG console via a number of sources, so that isn't a problem. Or. The database server is going down. The init scripts from the fmserver could also be set to send notifications to listed IPs.
