Re: problems installing qdns 4 on a linux serverFrom: Men & Mice Support Date: Wednesday, February 19, 2003
Time: 10:14:57 amThis is a known issue. The error message contains the vital clue -
unable to "move" the directory. The default configuration of
partitions on Red Hat 7.2 puts /var on a separate partition, and you
can't "move" files between partitions.
Copy the installation directory from /home/msupport/quickdns-4.0.2 to
/var/quickdns-4.0.2, then try again.
By the way: Please try not to send formatted email to this list -
stick to plain text messages. Formatted messages bother and/or cause
problems for some list members.
