Search Again: Problem with FMPro-Unlimited and Web Files From: James Maxwell Date: Saturday, March 1, 2003 Time: 11:19:04 pm Hi all, first here's the spec / layout / versions: hmmm .... may be I should put them in a sig. heh FMPro Unlimited 5.5v1 on NT4 P2-300 256Mb Ram 20GB HD / <10% CPU load FMPro Database Server (Redhat 7.3) on P2-500 256MB Ram 20Gb HD < 3% CPU load Both have same subnet, both behind firewall, FMProU can open database directly on port default port, in seconds. Network is SDSL 2.3mb, 75% free bandwidth Colocate 100mb/s 90% free bandwidth Web server connector (redhat/apache) on AMD800 / 1Gb Ram < 3% CPU load Problem: When browsing web files (add.html) filling it and submiting, it hangs, never getting to next screen. FMProU server cpu load is >99% and never goes lower, hd reads are low. very curious. This is browsing the webfiles that came from Optigold ISP without alteration. Any Clues on why the CPU race condition?
