I bet I am overlooking something, but here is
First Time Billing

my question. I have elected to set all accounts
as Pending when they are setup. We do not
deal with dialup accounts, and sometimes the
account is not active for as much as a month after
they are entered.
Once the account is activated, I want to bill them
for the following month based on the date
that it is moved from the pending status and then
their due date would be cycled from then on
from that date. In other words, they don't owe
me anything until the account is active. As I
was testing various accounts, it seems to want
to bill them from the date the account was entered.
As long as I am asking questions, is it possible
to allow people to setup accounts, but make it
quite difficult to change basic account information
later on? It seems far too easy to accidentally change
such things as an accounts name, there isn't even
a confirmation that you are doing it. If you overtype
the name and leave the screen, the info is changed.
Oops.
