Search Again: Email Invoices From: Anthony Lemons Date: Sunday, April 11, 1999 Time: 2:00:51 pm I've set up Optigold with a few test accounts so I can test the billing now before running into surprises later. I'm running into a problem with the email invoices. Optigold is sending the invoices with no problem. However with email clients like Outlook Express and Eudora Pro 4.1, the invoices show up with the formatting for the services all out of whack....like the following: Description Qty. Total ---------------------------------------- ------ ---------- Dial-Up Account (Monthly) 1.17 23.40 Prorated Day Credit 35 0.00 ---------- Subtotal 23.40 ---------- Previous Balance 16.80 ---------- Balance Due 40.20 This is with Eudora but Outlook Express looks about the same. The funny thing is that Netscape seems to work okay as all of the versions I've tested display the invoices formatted properly. I've tried Optigold set to send mail via SMTP and also using MAPI with various versions Eudora, Outlook Express and Netscape. All with the same results. Are the invoices set to insert spaces or tabs to dress up the display of the output of an invoice? Is there some setting I'm missing to get regular email invoices to display properly in all email clients? Any help would be appreciated.....
