You can use any of the following products to web enable a FIleMaker Pro
database:
WebFM
Tango
Lasso
Web Companion (built into FileMaker Pro 4.x)
Lasso is the best one, but it's a little pricey, which is why we didn't
web enable Optigold with it.
If you wanted to, you could web enable everything with web companion.
But, it's a pretty daunting task... Optigold ISP has about 3,000+ fields,
800+ different screens, 4,000 internal scripts/programs, 600+ database
relationships, etc. Plus there is a lot of work that would need to
happen just for the security side of it.
So yes, you could use any of those products to web enable portions that
aren't already web enabled... But... I wouldn't recommend it unless you
know the product very well, as Optigold ISP is one of the most
complex/threaded databases that I have seen, so it would be a task enough
to just web enable it if the person doing it was a master at the program
they were web enabling it with.
