Disappearing ZonesFrom: Michael Wise Date: Friday, April 4, 2003
Time: 12:17:45 pmOne of my clients has a QDNS install I'm having problems with. The
issue is that although it had been working flawless in the past with
several primary and secondary zones...it seems to have recently
decided it doesn't want to hold any zones. Meaning that when I log
into it with QDNS Manager, the primary and secondary zones are
missing. If I re-create the primaries and re-pull the secondaries,
the data seems to be there...but if I log back in 15 minutes later,
all pri/secondary zones are gone again.
This was happening with QDNS 3.5.3, so I upgraded them to 4.0.x, but
the exact problem still exists. I've fsck'd and DiskWarriored the
disk with no problems found as well as ran the repair permissions
util, but the problem remains.
Any ideas?
