This is normal. QuickDNS and Apple's tool run the DNS service
differently, such that Apple's tool can't get the expected data out
of the service. But at least it can recognize that the service is
running.

Note that if you use Apple's tool to start the DNS service, and then
have QuickDNS do the same, you'll get two copies running. This causes
all sorts of problems.
