email problems

We are new optigold users - I have two outstanding problems with email
notifications:

1. I cannot find the place under preferences where I request that trouble
tickets be auto emailed to the employee to whom they were assigned. Also,
is there a manual way to do this.

2. Often our customers have different login names than email addresses. So
I have it set up to NOT auto assign the login as the email. I want the
system to send invoices or other notices to the first email address on the
list of addresses - and it does this no problem BUT - it wants to
alphabetize the order of the email addresses so that I appear to have no
control over which address gets recorded as the first one. So for example I
just ended up sending an email invoice to this guy's son rather than the
father to whom I wanted it sent.
