quickbooks export

Hi,

I exported to quickbooks format. I can see what is in the file. However, I
cannot find information on what exactly it puts in there. Is it just the
payments that have been applied? Or is it the amount that has been
invoiced?
We are accrual based so need to summarize the amount INVOICED by us during a
certain time period and we also summarize by product and payment method.
For example, in Quickbooks we'd put the total amount of credit cards billed
each day for each product (dsl,dialup,web hosting, etc) in our specific
accounts. I was hoping that the export would help us but I cannot locate
material on what logic it used to create these records in the .iif file.
