error changing email password using customer web interface

Hi,

I am setting up the web interface for customer use. If a customer goes into
the email management screen and picks "Change Password", something isn't
working right. They enter the new password and click "Change Password". At
this point, the browser just hangs. Over on the web access system, a window
has popped up with "This feature is disabled. Enable it in the preferences
if you want to use it." That window will stay on the FM web access system
until you hit Okay. Once you do, then the customer browser will move back
to the email management screen.

I searched through the list archives and found someone else who had this
problem. Unfortunately the archives didn't have a resolution. I am not
using Old Style server events. I am running OG 3.2.6.

Any suggestions?
