The situation you describe is known as an IP RENUMBER....and I just went
through one of these...and I made a fatal mistake which caused me to lose
service for 36 hrs.
The fatal mistake was in not setting my DNS records prior to the transition,
well prior to at least a week or so before hand, to a much lower TTL!
Changing the NS at godaddy.com will only solve half the problem.
You'll have to wait till ALL the top level Domain servers in the world
expire your records....once they do, they'll go looking for the new
name server at goddady. That's assuming I understand what
happened. If not, perhaps Chris Buxton can shed some light on this...
