absolutely, for a screwed up machine.

ok, that's disastrous
I'm seeing no packet loss into 85.204.181.62.in-addr.dgcsystems.net
you're seeing so much packet loss that TCP sessions will be seriously
screwed, timeout, reconnect, etc, etc.
bad switch
on various MAC machines, what does
netstat -bi
show? collisions? in errs? out errs?
