Search Again: LDAP Novice needs help :( From: Scott Antonivich Date: Wednesday, July 23, 2003 Time: 1:19:42 pm I have been using LDAP solely for email accounts. I have been using a custom script for Optigold. Basically, OG telnets to the server and runs a script to use a command called ldapadd. It seems like I should be able to by-pass this step and add the user info directly into LDAP. I see in the New Style Server events that it supports LDAP. My problem is that I do not have much experience with command line LDAP. I usually use LINUC Directory Administrator for my LDAP stuff. Considering this should be a simple setup (only username/pass for email authentication) can anyone offer a suggestion on how to configure OG to add users into ldap? All I have for info is my DN and Search Root info. I am novice to anything else.
