Re: HELP! Credit Card Billing Screwed UPFrom: Kathryn Cooper Date: Monday, August 4, 2003
Time: 5:33:33 amShawn,
I am not the systems administrator so I can't answer why I'm not using
filemaker server but will find out. Rebuilding the indexes did fix the
funky balance problem. But I went to bill credit cards again today and am
having the same problem. Basically it takes forever for it to go through a
single customer (10 minutes) and no transactions are actually being posted.
The NT task manager says that Optigold is "not responding." I will not
intentionally crash the database again :( I'll just wait it out this time
and restore my backup from 7/31 and re-do the billing and see if I have the
same problem. I'll be back in touch if my efforts fail. Thanks for all of
your help.
Kathryn

It would if any customers had payments or invoices created for them since
the backup (and you didn't restore the payments or invoices tables also).
In the future, do *not* intentionally crash the database server... you could
loose everything if you do in a worst-case scenario. Also, why are you not
using FileMaker Server?
