Hi Shawn, thanks for your reply. I've figured out the problem (thanks to
your reply), but it raises a new question. The master account does not
have a Login (it's only a domain name registration account). I presume
that's why the Sub-account could not be attached to the master, and
obviously why the Master account can't be set in the sub account.
We use empty logins for customers who do not have dial-up or DSL service
so that their logins are not generated in the Radius file. Obviously
this is going to cause a problem with Master/Sub/Slave accounts. Is
there another way to have accounts without access services (dial-up/DSL)
that also have a login but not be included in the Radius file?
We use a text based user database for Radius. The only variables
generated by Optigold are the login, password, and Radius profile. The
text file is FTPd to Radius. It seems that if there's a login and pw in
Optigold, it will be created in the Radius users file.
