Just another FYI it opens up fine but still shows 3.2.4 even though I
installed 3.2.9.

It opens and appears to work fine, will I screw anything up running like
this until I figure the upgrade out?

Did you put the files into multi-user mode or get prompted to create an
admin account?

You can manually trigger an upgrade by using the login: "importold" at the
login prompt. But if it didn't work automatically, it might not work
manually either for whatever reason it didn't work automatically...
