Search Again: "wrong size read" error transferring files? From: andrew Date: Friday, August 29, 2003 Time: 10:06:17 am Hi All: I have a QDNS 3.5.3 server set to secondary a number of domains from a Bind 9 server. On one of the domains, I get the following error: Aug 27 12:07:07 Attempting to download zone "domain.com." with serial 200308272, from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx Aug 27 12:07:08 Wrong size read Aug 27 12:07:08 Unable to load zone "domain.com." from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx Aug 27 12:07:08 Giving up on zone "domain.com." On the Bind server, I see Aug 27 12:07:07 dns named[865]: client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx #49158: transfer of 'domain.com/IN' AXFR started The file has the same permissions as all the other domain files. If I rndc reload the Bind server It doesn't report an error when loading the domain file. Is there any reason QDNS might not transfer the file? TIA, Andrew
