In the following message, the phrase:

"In response to high demand from our users,..."

... is probably his "code" for "because of the abuse of DNS by Verisign,..."

I've received, so far, announcement for 9.2.2 and 9.1.3 and 9.2.3rc3 (rc =
release candidate)

Note, there is no "change log" in the announcement as is customary in BIND
releases, another signal that this is the "versign fix".

If I've got this guess wrong, as will be clarified in the BIND users lists
(no messages about this fix, yet), I will correct it here.
