Search Again: A couple questions From: Dan Farmer Date: Thursday, September 18, 2003 Time: 2:00:04 pm I just joined the list, but I saw in the archive that men and mice will be updating their product to handle the new zone type (delegation-only). I also saw a note on the site that 4.6 will be coming in October for OS X. Will this fix be released as a 4.5.2 patch or will we have to wait for 4.6 to use it? This isn't critical as I am now using a sendmail ruleset that seems to detect spam/invalid sending domains even with the verisign wackiness. But I would like to get this update in so any other quirkyness caused by verisign will disappear. Also, I can't find any references to the BIND 9 feature 'view' in the QuickDNS documentation or FAQ's. Are they supported (am I missing something) or if not, how do you manage different zone information for internal/external hosts? I have 2 QuickDNS servers - one serving internal zones and one serving external zones, and I'd like to get some redundancy by having them both serve internal and external zones based on who is requesting the information. When I try to make 2 copies of the same zone for this purpose I get nothing but errors. Dan Farmer Phone Directories Company, Inc.
