Sorry, I was trying to figure out the error and figured it out finally
so no screen shot. The following info is the reason:
Maybe you can shed some light on this. I found a duplicate record with
the same information on it except for a few fields that were different.
The creator on one record is blank and filled in on the other. The
dates are different also. All notes are linked so if I enter a new note
in one record it updates the other as well. I finally deleted one
record thinking it would delete the other but didn't. It kept the
record but all notes got deleted with the other record. I decided to
look into all contacts and found several that are the same way. I'm at
a loss on how this is happening. I've tried to duplicate records but
was denied because I didn't own the record and I have full admin
rights. None of the others in my department have the same privileges. I
rebuilt the database last night thinking the indexes were screwed up
but there is nothing wrong with it that I can see. One more thing. I
noticed that all records that have duplicates have the same dates in
the duplicate records. I have looked into what was happening on those
days but nothing had been done to that server on those days. Any ideas?
