If you installed a certain Mac OS X update (a security update from
last November, as I recall) after installing QuickDNS 4.5.1, you will
have Bind 8.3.4.

There's no real reason to update to 8.3.6.

Panther will include Bind 9. So will QuickDNS 4.6. Unlike the Panther
installer, the QuickDNS 4.6 installer will update your configuration
(including generating a random security key for you).
