Mark,

You can alter the OG web signup pages to include a dropdown of email domain
choices. Or better yet, use OptiSkin for the same task. It is much easie
r to customize.

We do the same thing as you, giving our customers multiple domain choices f
or their account. Look at our signup page at https://secure.team1internet.

Subject: [Optigold ISP] Welcome letters to all new email accounts created

Greetings all,

I apologize in advance if this has been answered, but I can't find it. I
'm probably staring at it right now. J

I would like the ability to have OG send a welcome letter (preferably bas
ed on product, or better yet, promo code used to create the account) to ANY
new email account that is created for a customer. My need is as follows.
=20

We have a number of domains that a customer can sign up under. Since the
on-line signup doesn't allow us to specify which email address a new custo
mer wants, we have disabled the "auto create email based on login" option.
Once the customer signs up, we direct them to their maintenance page to cr
eate whatever email accounts they would like. Since the signup process is
complete, there is no welcome letter generated.=20

This could be fixed by either 1) Allowing the user to specify the first
email account during signup, or 2) sending a welcome letter to ANY email cr
eated for an account. The latter would also help with email servers that d
on't set up the email account until the first email delivery is attempted.

Also, on an unrelated note, it would be really handy to be able to specif
y a particular printer for major things to print to from automation. Examp
le: invoices go to printer 1, virtual checks go to printer 2, etc.=20

Right now we're doing this by using both automation areas but when I need
to go to a third paper type I' won't be able to automate it. Just a thoug
ht, have no idea how hard this would be with Filemaker.

I would be glad to entertain any other options anyone might have..
