Connection problems with Authorize.netFrom: John Russell Date: Thursday, September 25, 2003

We have been operating our data server running Optigold remotely using
Timbuktu Pro. No problems until this morning.
This morning we were processing our credit card submissions to
Authorize.net, and kept receiving a response code 3 error. However,
there was no response reason listed.
I logged in to Authorize.net and discovered that the submissions had not
even been received at Authorize.net, although another billing program we
were using was able to connect successfully.
Our login and password have not been changed in Optigold.
I contacted a technical support person at Authorize.net and he stated
that response code 3 covered about 100 different errors and there should
have been a reason listed. I told him there was no reason listed in the
message box. Authorize.net tech support was unable to help until we
could get a response reason.
Any ideas?
