Question about Web Interface and emails. From: Ulrich, Elisha N. Date: Tuesday, May 4, 1999
Time: 10:02:02 amIs there a way to add an administrative option to dis-allow users changing
emails. Say you don't mind them changing email accounts 2, 3 , and 4 but you
need to lock the First on as this is thier Override Email (where the bill
goes) also. Reading this list lately and testing the current config, a user
could disable/delete email '1' and then the billing email will not go to
them and they can claim "I didn't get a bill ?!?" If the Primary email is
locked and it's also the billing email then they will get a bill (at least
in thier email box). So you could selectively lock (from deletion,
modification) email accounts up to the max per user based on ProductID's. It
would not be locked in the Admin for change. A single 'locked emails' option
could be added. 1 = first email, 2 = first 2 emails, etc...
As for the tracking of the Web Interface login, you could add a timestamp
display in the Billing or Invoice screens that simply states, 'Viewed
Billing Info At: 00:00:00 00/00/00'. No reason to add it to the notes. A
report could be run on accounts that have not used the web interface.
